Godliness - Paul is instructing Timothy to help him overcome members who look down on him because of his youth.  How can he stop them?  By being a Godly Example.

1) A Godly example is to be close to God and do what is good.  Purity/Love in the Lord should show in all your works.  Your examples should reflect the purity of the Lords Love.

2) Committed to Godly preaching. - Publicly preach the work and explain it accurately.

3) Exhort the People - Ask and encourage people to follow the Lord and to imitate him.

4) Teach the Church (Congregation) the Word and explain it carefully.

5) Godly Stewardship - Fan the flame of the Lords Love, by sharpening the gifts he has given you to help the congregaton and the world.

6) Godlly Consistency - Practice our gifts and grow in our understanding and in our consistency in following the Word in a loving manner. Guard yourself from sin, by being accountable to the Church and having a Plurality of Elders to ask us the difficult questions to stay on course for growth in the Loard.

Salvation comes from:

1) Justification - Faith and repentance.

2) Sactification - Received and stand by the Bible and the Lord.

3) Glorification - Where our bodies are dead, but we are with the Lord in Heaven.

We need to Perservere in the faith and help others to reach these ends.
