I Timothy 6:11-21

Paul's final charge to Timothy in his first epistle. Timothy is being charged to hold fast to all that Paul has commanded him to carry out.

The attributes of God the Father

1. Authority - Sovereign over all nations and even the 'when' of Christ's return. (v13b)

2. Holiness - Like no other. Immortality;

                                       Sanctity - dwells in unapproachable light

                                       Invisible - but we see the Father through Christ

3. Worthy of praise - Honor and eternal dominion - "let everything that has breath

                               praise the Lord (Psalm 150)
