Scene 1: Jesus sends the 12

Jesus charges the 12 to take nothing with them on their mission.This mission is all about deliverance, a sprirtual exodus. Disciples go.

Scene 2 John the Baptist

John the Baptist spoke out against the incestual relationship going on between Herod and his niece. He was then killed on request of his nieces mother. Then the disciples had to bury him. Disciples suffer.

Scene 3 The return of the apostles

Apostles: Sent ones, bearers of truth

Application

1. Go! If a disciple of Jesus, you are charged to go. As you go through everyday life, make disciples. You arent necessarily called to be fruitful but faithful to God and the mission given to you.

2. As you go, suffer well for Christ. Pick up your cross and follow Him. You are not saved to live in comfort, but he saves you to live, suffer and go for Him.
