Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

•  Is 53 says Jesus was ordinary, gently, lowly, kind. Yet, he displays the Father to us

How does that affect the way that we live?

Application:

1. Share the gospoel regardless of appearance.
2. Seek to encourage others at all times. 1Thess 5:11
3. Don't try to seek approval through external appearances 1Thess 4:11
4. Do your best to think in spiritual categories. Ps 73
5. Don't pursue Messianic substitutes.
6. Don't try to fool God. Don't try to hide your sin.
